How do penguins find their mate. So how do they manage to find their way back to their partners among the large throng. Many other pengüins find their mate singing such the macarroni penguin. Once a female chooses her mate the pair will go through an important courtship ritual in which the penguins bow preen and call to each other. Penguins have a variety of mating rituals that vary between species.
